What we do
Atisa Program (Adults)
We have 6 weekly discipleship groups where we minister the word of God and teach life skills to 300 adults. Our desire is to see our beneficiaries become responsible, kind, compassionate, and God-fearing individuals who will positively impact society.
Kids Clubs
Recognizing that not all children are raised in nurturing environments, our Kids' Clubs provide a safe haven where children can experience love, enjoy a nutritious meal, and encounter God through biblical teachings. Our weekly Kids’ Clubs cater for children in Grade R-9 where they are taught through engaging biblical lessons, life skills training, and games. The kids clubs are in 4 different locations around Ikageng and Promosa each week. The children are also encouraged to develop their gifts through the talent development program.
After-school Program
Mathematics and English are foundational subjects that support other areas of learning. Unfortunately, some of our children attending Primary school weren't able to read or comprehend content and apply basic numeracy methods.
The program supports learners from grade 3 - 7, every week from Mondays to Wednesdays for 2 hours a day.
Our heart is to see the learners gain confidence in themselves and graduate from the program with firmer foundations, and a deep desire to excel in every area of their lives.
Feeding Scheme
We feed 1300 people per week. Some of our beneficiaries will at times go to bed hungry due to various reasons. Hunger and malnutrition can hinder one’s ability to work or attend school so we are committed to serving them a nutritious meal.
Winter Project
Caring for the less fortunate in the cold winter seasons is crucial for us. This project runs annually, where we partner with donors to buy winter essentials for those in need.
Items such as, blankets, scarfs, socks, beanies and soup are received from donors.
Christmas Project
Christmas is often seen as a time for spending quality time with loved ones, when people come together, share meals and exchange gifts.
It is also a time for us to celebrate our groups by expressing our love and appreciation towards them.
During this time, we prepare a special meal for them and hand out Christmas gifts.
Our beneficiaries don’t always come from healthy environments which has made us intentional about serving them with compassion and unconditional love.
