Bafenyi
is the setswana word for "winners" and we want to see people win, regardless of their circumstances
join the journeyBafenyi means ‘winners’ in the Setswana language, and we are passionate about helping people win regardless of their circumstances. Our goal is to reach adults and children who live in poor areas of our community, that often feel lost, neglected and rejected by society. We aim to meet their need by providing physical and spiritual food. Currently we are reaching a 1000 people per week through our feeding scheme, which is our main vehicle towards combating poverty and hopelessness within the community.
Our core values towards poverty relief and helping people win is; being responsible, honest and accountable with all donations received, empowering other churches and organisations to make an impact in the community, loving others well and following Jesus Christ.
‘Diatla’ means hands and we love to take hands with other organisations who want to make a difference in the lives of people. Some of the organisations that we have worked with are Feisty Females and Fire and Fragrance South Africa (discipleship training school).
We have built a community centre in Promosa where Bafenyi and networking partners can present trainings and workshops from.
